Early this morning, Nintendo streamed live news via their Nintendo Direct. If you'd like to watch the entire thing, you may do so here. If not, you can read about everything mentioned after hitting the jump below.

Wii U Sonic Lost World - The game will be released on October 22 in North America for both Wii U and 3DS. The two systems can connect in a cooperative multiplayer mode. Rayman Legends - The Wii U version will feature Mario and Luigi costumes for Rayman and Globox. Stages from Rayman Origins will also be exclusive to the Wii U release. The game is released September 3rd. The Wonderful 101 - The game will be available September 15. A special Nintendo Direct will air on August 9. Art Academy: Sketch Pad - This app will launch August 9 will allow Wii U owners to display their art on Miiverse. Pikmin 3 - You can take in game screenshots and post them directly to Miiverse. If you want a chance at getting on the Wii U facebook page, make sure to add your most witty captions! Pokémon Rumble U - The newest installment of Pokémon Rumble will be exclusive to the Wii U eShop on August 29. Every one of the 649 Pokémon to date will make an appearnce in Rumble U. Gamestop will be selling 18 different collectible figurines that aren't necessary for completion, but still cool to have. Animal Crossing Plaza - Animal Crossing Plaza is a brand new free app that can be downloaded on the eShop today. It allows fans from across the world to meet and exchange information. You can post QR codes that can then be scanned and used in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. This service will run until the end of 2014. Super Smash Bros. 4 - Luigi is on the roster! The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD - Faster sailing and beautiful graphics are just a few things that make the Wii U version of this Gamecube title stellar. It hits shelves October 4 in Europe. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds - The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will feature a dark world known as â'‚¬Å“The Other Worldâ'‚¬Â. It can be accessed through suspicious looking cracks found on the wall. The game features a dark triforce that can only be found in The Other World. The game is set in the future many years after Ganon is sealed in A Link to the Past. This means that the games will feature two different Links. You can pick up the newest Legend of Zelda installment this November. You can check out some new HD screenshots here Professor Layton - Two new games will be released in 2014. Professor Layton and the Arzan Legacy and Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Animal Crossing: New Leaf - You can pick-up various in-game items starting with the Pumpkin Pie by visiting a Nintendo Zone location. The promotion begins August 11th. To get cool stuff, go to the post office and ask about a present. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - Like previous installments, players can equip badges and gear to power-up the brothers. You can start exploring the two giant worlds and taking on expert challenges on August 11th in North America. Virtual Console - Lost of new games will be released on the 3DS eShop before the end of this year. These games are include: Donkey Kong (Arcade), Tecmo Bowl, Wario Land 3, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Summer Carnival '92 RECCA.
