Today's Nintendo Direct opened with a great surprise: a brand new Mario & Luigi game! The state of the series has been unsure since the developer Alpha Dream dissolved. But we've got a new game on the way after 9 years and it's called Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It takes place in the world of Concordia and looks like it will feature all the classic Mario RPG mechanics and charm.
This is the first Mario & Luigi game made for a home console too, so there are some clear visual upgrades that can be seen in the trailer below. Mario & Luigi Brothership will launch on Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2024. Stay tuned as we'll be providing a full walkthrough and other strategy guides for the game.
