In anticipation of the upcoming Affordable Space Adventures on the Wii U eShop, KnapNok Games and Nifflas have teamed up to offer there two previous games at a 50% discount price until 2/26/2015. Spin the Bottle: Bumpie's Party and Knytt can each be downloaded for just $5.99 (€3.99). This promotion is to get you ready for the unique gameplay styles offered by both developers that will be combined in the future release of Affordable Space Adventures. Copenhagen-based games studio KnapNok Games and Swedish developer Nifflas’ Games have teamed up to offer a special 50% discount on two of their Wii U eShop downloadable titles, Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party and Knytt Underground.
In preparation for the upcoming launch of their joint collaboration game Affordable Space Adventures later this year, both developers will be offering their games at a 50% discount for two weeks starting Thursday February 12th 2015.
Each one of these games presents a completely different experience that showcases some of the best each studio has to offer.
Both games will be offered at a price of €3.99 / £3.99 / $5.99 until February 26th 2015 as part of the promotion. It is intended to hype players who are waiting for the upcoming game Affordable Space Adventures, a collaboration between both studios.
“Affordable Space Adventures combines the unique interactions between players and new ways of control that are a trademark of KnapNok Games, as well as Nifflas’ Games exploration and unique brand of storytelling”, explains KnapNok Games CEO Dajana Dimovska. “We hope this sale will allow even more players to experience these unique gameplay styles before the launch of the game later this year”.
Spin the Bottle: Bumpie’s Party is an award-winning party game for up to 8 players. It pushes the players’ attention away from the TV screen and towards each other with a series of collaborative micro challenges where players have to look at each other in order to win. Players sit in a circle around the Wii U ™ GamePad and spin a virtual bottle in order to pair up two random players to take a challenge.
Knytt Underground on the other hand offers a single player experience on a planet practically destroyed by humans in a war five hundred years ago. Players take the role of Mi, a mute but extraordinary sprite, who develops special powers as she embarks upon a quest to ring the six bells of fate. The gameplay offers thrilling quests, unique zen-like environments and plenty of dynamic characters to meet.
KnapNok Games has experience with developing games for social and physical digital game platforms such as: Nintendo Wii and Wii U, Microsoft Xbox Kinect, smartphones, and PC. Examples of their developed games are: award winning party game B.U.T.T.O.N. for Steam and XBLIG, WiiWare game Paint Plash, Kinect demo Slowmo Showdown, eShop Wii U game Spin the Bottle, etc.
Nifflas’ Games is an indie studio manned by Swedish game developer Nicklas Nygren. He is known for his freeware games Knytt, Knytt Stories and Within a Deep Forest. His titles Nightsky and Knytt Underground have appeared on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U respectively.
