Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is a sequel to the beloved RPG Paper Mario for N64. It was originally released on October 11, 2004 for GameCube before being remade for Nintendo Switch on May 23, 2024. It features simple RPG gameplay with Mario and a slew of orginal character partners. Gameplay is spread across eight chapters in a storybook setting.
Our Paper Mario TTYD Guides were created for the Switch remake of the game, but are compatible with the GameCube original. There are very few changes to the gameplay in the remake, especially with the location of the collectibles.
