The Lakeside Area in Bowser's Fury is home to four courses: Fur Step Island, Scamper Shores, Fort Flaptrap, and Pounce Bounce Isle. Each course has 5 Cat Coins to find and collect. Once all five Cat Shine Shards are collected, you'll be rewarded with the course's fourth Cat Shine.
Fur Step Island Cat Coins
Note: These Cat Coins can only be gathered after the game has been beaten. You'll then be able to travel back to Fur Step Island.
Cat Coin #1
On the far south side of the island, use Cat Mario to climb the tall wall. On top you'll find Cat Coin #1.
Cat Coin #2
At the back of the ship, there are two large intersecting poles that would be used to hoist the mast. Climb up the poles to find Cat Coin #2.
Cat Coin #3
On the right side of the ship, drop down into the water. You'll see a little alcove in the side of the ship where you'll find Cat Coin #3.
Cat Coin #4
On the front of the ship is a stone Bowser head statue. You can drop down on top of it to find Cat Coin #4.
Cat Coin #5
Near the lighthouse is a stack of Goombas with Cat Coin #5 on top. Defeat the Goombas to get it.
Scamper Shores Cat Coins
Cat Coin #1
Once in Scamper Shores, use Cat Mario to climb up the first rotating grate. Hop into the area behind it to find the hidden Cat Coin #1.
Cat Coin #2
Climb the wall to the left of the second rotating grate in the level to grab Cat Coin #2.
Cat Coin #3
Immediately after the second Cat Coin, break the group of boxes and hop down the small ledge to find Cat Coin #3 in an alcove.
Cat Coin #4
Hop down into the sandy area below and you'll see a pillar holding up land in the water. There is a grate covering a secret alcove here. Use Cat Mario to climb up the pillar and grab Cat Coin #4.
Cat Coin #5
Near the end of the level near the lighthouse there are three rotating grates. Hop accross them and grab Cat Coin #5.
Pounce Bounce Isle Cat Coins
Cat Coin #1
There are a group of spiky enemies carrying Cat Coin #1 around on their heads. Attack them with Cat Mario or the nearby boomerang power-up to collect it.
Cat Coin #2
There is a tall wall to the right of the first Cat Coin. Scale it with Cat Mario to collect Cat Coin #2.
Cat Coin #3
There is a path that leads around the back wall of the first elevated area. Here you'll find a bounce pad that will let you get high enough to reach Cat Coin #3.
Cat Coin #4
On the highest platform in the level, you'll see Cat Coin #4 floating nearby. There is a break in the fence here so that you can launch a boomerang out to grab it. Otherwise, you can leap out for it.
Cat Coin #5
Underneath the giant bounce pad at the end of the highest platform, there is an alcove that you can simply walk under. Here you can grab Cat Coin #5.
Fort Flaptrap Cat Coins
Cat Coin #1
At the beginning of the level there is a ladder of Flaptraps that let you reach an upper platform. On the right Flaptrap you'll find Cat Coin #1.
Cat Coin #2
Cat Coin #2 can be found behind the lightouse on the railing.
Cat Coin #3
On the right side of the island on the sand, you'll find Cat Coin #3 between three trees.
Cat Coin #4
On the right side of the island, floating high in the air is Cat Coin #4. There are a few ways to get it. If you wait for Bowser's Fury, a platform will appear that makes it easier to grab. Otherwise you can climb to the top of the lighthouse and use Cat Mario, Tanooki Mario, or a Propeller Block to glide to it.
Cat Coin #5
On the left side of the island, there are some brick blocks embedded in the platform that you can break with Cat Mario. Crawl into the gap they create to find Cat Coin #5.
