When you come across three sand sculptures of Goombas, destroy the right most one with a shell to reveal Green Star Number 1.
In the water area slightly behind and to the left of the lockbox, there is a hole with a green warp pipe. Take it and light up the tiles to get Green Star Number 2.
Climb or jump up to the alcove in the wall on the far right side of the area. Save Captain Toad from the circle of Biddybuds here and he'll give you Green Star Number 3.
Green Star Number 1 can be reached by swinging backwards from the middle trapeze in the first set of three and landing on some invisible clouds.
Head to the right of the giant rotating Piranha platform and take the warp pipe. Inside, collect all the blue coins and Green Star Number 2 will appear.
Use the Trapeze to jump through the Green Star Ring and then collect the eight green coins for Green Star Number 3.
There is a break in the ground to the left of your starting point that you'll need to ground pound to make Green Star Number 1 appear.
Hop on the lift that requires at least four characters and it'll take you to Green Star Number 2. You can also climb the wall with a Super Bell.
Either take the lift that requires three characters or drop down from the second Green Star and Green Star Number 3 will be yours.
Defeat all five Chargin' Chucks to get Green Star Number 1.
Using the Super Bell, climb the wall to the left of the first clear pipes. Green Star Number 1 will be in an alcove here, but there are two invisible blocks directly below it. Enter the hole from the left or right to avoid them.
Catch the glowing rabbit in the large field and he'll surrender Green Star Number 2.
There is a Green Star Ring on the rotating platforms before the flagpole. Collect all eight coins after going through it and your reward will be Green Star Number 3.
Throw a bomb at the POW block above the purple brick blocks near the Goombas. Green Star Number 1 is behind it.
Catch the glowing rabbit on the rotating circular platform and he'll surrender Green Star Number 2.
Hop into the cloud cannon and color every tile to reveal an 8-bit Mario, and Green Star Number 3.
You'll come to an area where the flip panels are suspended over open space. Green Star Number 1 is on a blue panel in the top-left corner.
In the area with two enemies that shoot out electric rings, take the green warp pipe after defeating the Piranha Plant. Hit the P switch and guide the ball to the button by jumping twice and moving the flip panels. Your reward is Green Star Number 2.
The last set of flip panels is home to a Green Star Ring. Collect all eight coins and avoid falling to get Green Star Number 3.
Defeat the Fire Bro. on the Goomba Tower in 100 seconds or less to get Green Star Number 1.
Pick up a spring by jumping on the green enemies the first time you get a chance. Carry it with you until you see the shadow of Green Star Number 1 on the straight narrow path lined with Bullet Bill cannons. Use it to jump high and grab the star.
Lure a Bullet Bill towards you and jump out of the way so that it can hit the cracked wall to the left of the red ring. Take the purple Warp Box and quickly climb the staircase of brick blocks to pick up Green Star Number 2.
Green Star Number 3 is found near the end of the level encased in large brick blocks. Lure Bullet Bills your way to have them destroy the layer of brick and grab the fruit of your labor.
Go through the Green Star Ring on the swinging platforms and collect the eight green coins to get Green Star Number 1.
Green Star Number 2 is inside a Ka-Thunk rolling off the edge of a platform that is littered with Chargin' Chucks.
Using a Super Bell, climb up the wall by the warp box that takes you to the boss. There is a hole in the wall containing Green Star Number 3 here.
Lift a block while standing on it and cross the donut lifts to get Green Star Number 1.
Take the left door for Green Star Number 2.
Take the next door, drop down to the pink blocks and then tap them to have them elevate you to Green Star Number 3.
Enter in the gap of the ring of Peepas and grab Green Star Number 4 in the center.
Green Star Number 5 can be gathered by taking the slope and walking across the donut lifts. Stay on the last one and you'll fall on the star that ends the level.
