World Star-1 Rainbow Run Green Stars
World Star-1 Green Star 1
On the first set of rotating cylinder platforms, you'll see two brick blocks on the wall. Use a Super Bell to climb the wall here and enter the green pipe. Guide both balls to the switches here to get Green Star Number 1.
World Star-1 Green Star 2
After getting off Plessie, you'll see two unlit torches next to the wall. Use a Fire Flower (you can find one hidden in a block to the right) to light the torches and reveal a cloud pipe. Once in the sky, light up the picture of Link to get Green Star Number 2.
World Star-1 Green Star 3
After the checkpoint flag, you'll find a Green Star Ring. Hop through it and collect the 8 green coins to get Green Star Number 3.
World Star-2 Super Galaxy Green Stars
World Star-2 Green Star 1
You'll find a brick block to the right of some flipping platforms near the beginning of the level. Hop on top of it and you can reach Green Star Number 1.
World Star-2 Green Star 2
In the middle of the level is a large checkboard pattern of flip platforms. On the left side you'll see Green Star Number 2 on a red platform.
World Star-2 Green Star 3
At the end of the level, there is a second set of flipping platforms beneath the warp block. Quickly grab Green Star Number 3 here before you get flipped off.
World Star-3 Rolling Ride Run Green Stars
World Star-3 Green Star 1
Enter the purple warp block on the ledge between two rolling platforms. Rotate the puzzle here so you can grab Green Star Number 1 from the center.
World Star-3 Green Star 2
On the largest rolling platform, there will be a smaller platform attached to the front. Rotate it to find Green Star Number 2.
World Star-3 Green Star 3
Near the end of the level, there is a large rolling platform that you'll need to ride through a series of obstacles. There is a narrow platform to the south with a hidden block containing a double cherry. Grab it and then follow the platform through a corridor to the north where you'll find a two character lift. Take it to Green Star Number 3.
World Star-4 The Great Goal Pole Green Stars
World Star-4 Green Star 1
As you are racing through this level, you'll see Green Star Number 1 on some donut lifts to the right near the beginning of the level.
World Star-4 Green Star 2
There is an intersection when you are running along some donut lifts where a cloud of paths lead to the right. Before taking the path to the right, continue down the donut lift path and carefully grab Green Star Number 2.
World Star-4 Green Star 3
At the very end of the level, take the staircase to the upper path of donut lifts. You'll eventually come across Green Star Number 3 up here.
World Star-5 Super Block Land Green Stars
World Star-5 Green Star 1
Pick up a Tanooki Suit from the beginning of the level and then climb your way up to the to platform. Continue right across the giant brick blocks and then use the Tanooki Suit to reach the purple warp block. Ground pound the ? blocks inside to reach Green Star Number 1.
World Star-5 Green Star 2
After the checkpoint flag, there is a grey brick block in a left corner. Blow it up to reveal Green Star Number 2. Be careful not to blow up a bridge you are standing on in the process.
World Star-5 Green Star 3
At the end of the level on the far right side is a giant question block. Ground pound it and it will take you up to Green Star Number 3 on the platform above.
World Star-6 Honeycomb Starway Green Stars
World Star-6 Green Star 1
Use a Boomerang Flower to hit the red switch and create a path to the right to Green Star Number 1.
World Star-6 Green Star 2
There is a large central platform where several lines of Para-Biddybuds will spawn. Defeat them all here to get Green Star Number 2.
World Star-6 Green Star 3
Green Star Number 3 can be found hovering over a lava platform on the left side before the bee area. Use a boomerang to snag it from over the lava.
World Star-7 Gargantuan Grotto Green Stars
World Star-7 Green Star 1
Pick up a Mega Mushroom and quickly continue right until you reach a series of giant grey blocks. Ground pound here to reach a lower area. Green Star Number 1 will be above some purple enemies that you can blast through in mega form.
World Star-7 Green Star 2
While using a Mega Mushroom, ground pound on the bounce pads at the end of the water area to reach Green Star Number 2.
World Star-7 Green Star 3
When you reach the green pipe at the end of the level, swim up to find a second hidden green pipe. Use the Mega Mushroom to collect all the blue coins in this room and get Green Star Number 3.
World Star-8 Peepa's Fog Bog Green Stars
World Star-8 Green Star 1
On the right side of the area you can ground pound in front of a gravestone to get a Super Star. Quickly head to the back left and save Captain Toad from the Peepas to get Green Star Number 1.
World Star-8 Green Star 2
In the Fog Bog area, you'll come across a purple warp block to your right. Enter it and grab a snowball to throw at Green Star Number 2.
World Star-8 Green Star 3
Grab a snowball before entering the area where the path sinks down into the fog. You'll come across Green Star Number 3 to the left of the path and you can throw a snowball at it to collect it.
World Star-9 Cosmic Cannon Cluster Green Stars
World Star-9 Green Star 1
After climbing the staircase of canonballs, head to the right and blow up the cracked wall to find Green Star Number 1.
World Star-9 Green Star 2
In the underwater section, blow up some blocks to reveal an alcove on the floor that contains Green Star Number 2.
World Star-9 Green Star 3
In the final area of the level with directional platforms, use the Canon Block and switches to lead you to Green Star Number 3 to the north. Make sure to quickly switch back directions to avoid falling to your doom.
World Star-Toad Captain Toad Takes a Spin Green Stars
World Star-Toad Green Star 1
After rotating the course with the P Switch, hop down and collect Green Star Number 1 from behind the Fizzlit.
World Star-Toad Green Star 2
You'll find Green Star Number 2 on the lowest area to the left.
World Star-Toad Green Star 3
Rotate the course again to collect Green Star Number 3 on the slightly raised platform.
World Star-Toad Green Star 4
Rotate the course again to collect Green Star Number 4 tucked behind the two Fizzlits.
World Star-Toad Green Star 5
Rotate the course a final time, but be careful as you will land on a Fizzlit. Time it so he isn't shocking and then you can collect Green Star Number 5.
